TALCOTT FINANCIAL GROUP MOVES TO DOWNTOWN HARTFORD, ENHANCING EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE AND DRIVING GROWTH

Talcott Financial Group relocated to 52,000 square feet within the iconic Boat Building at One American Row in downtown Hartford. This strategic move transitioned 300 employees from the Windsor location to Hartford, aiming to attract top talent and accommodate future growth. The new and vibrant location situates employees in the heart of downtown, surrounded by a variety of dining, entertainment, and transportation options, enhancing their overall work experience and immersing them in a thriving and growing insurance innovation ecosystem.

Red Thread collaborated closely with Talcott to create an environment that meets the needs of their workforce and encourages a return to the office. The new space features light-filled, modern setups, including spacious conference rooms, huddle spaces equipped with enhanced technology, kitchen cafés on every floor, and a 30-seat boardroom. We delivered workstation mockups to engage employees and gather feedback, resulting in an adjustment that improved comfort, while also assisting with change management to ensure a smooth transition and help employees feel excited and comfortable in their new workspace. All design and finish selections, decided through collaborative sessions, reflect a commitment to a modern, efficient, and welcoming office environment.
