What we are thankful for at Red Thread

As Thanksgiving gets closer, we all tend to find ourselves taking a step back to think about what we are thankful for. So in the spirit of the season, we at Red Thread decided to ask ourselves what we look forward to each day when we come to work. According to Business Insider, the average American spends 90,000 hours of their life working, so we all feel lucky to work in an environment that is supportive, flexible, collaborative, and has strong leadership. Below are just some of the things we are thankful for at work. What are you thankful for at your workplace? Let us know by commenting below!

WORKSPACE DESIGN AND FLEXIBILITY

Many in our community expressed gratitude for Red Thread’s inspiring workspace design. Creating a space that people actually look forward to going to every day is very important. Red Thread creates spaces that encourage engagement and allows us to choose where we want to work at any given moment.

“I am thankful for the company’s investment in a state-of-the-art work space that allows for engagement, collaboration and team work. We have a very cool place to spend our work day.” – Mark

“I am thankful to be inspired every day. The Boston WorkLife isn’t just a place to work, it more often becomes a source of motivation, a place to do my best thinking” – John

“I am thankful for the ability to choose my “best place to work”. This could mean within our Seaport office, another Red Thread location, a client’s site, or my home office. This affords me the required access to people, privacy, and technology. Plus, I get energized by working in different spaces surrounded by different people.” – Mike

“I’m thankful that Red Thread gives me choice and control over how I work. From the Workcafe, to a comfortable lounge setting, to a workstation, Red Thread’s Boston Worklife Center gives me the opportunity to not only work in a place that makes sense for the work I’m doing at that particular moment, but it also gives me the freedom to choose where I work and who I work with.” – Steve
