Ancillary furniture applications support us as work becomes more mobile and we transition from a traditional work zone – desk, chair, storage – to spaces that are more relaxed, flexible and encourage different ways of working. As lounge style furniture continues shift, enhance and expand the office design market, terms like “resi-mmercial” and “third space movement” are becoming more common.
Recently, our Boston Design Team Leader had the opportunity to attend both NeoCon in Chicago and the high-end, European-influenced International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) at the Javits Center in New York City. She saw a plethora of new and modern furniture that can expand the offerings for lounge style office furniture market, as well as influence our thinking about ancillary furniture and accessories.
